Why Glendale Community Church?

An interesting question for anyone who attends any church is “Why?” Why is that local church, out of all the options you have, the church that GOD has called you to attend?

This is not a question to ask as in “should I be serving somewhere else?” but it is more of a question of “What is the reason GOD has you there?”

It’s kind of an easy question for me to answer in some ways. I am the pastor after all and some of the main reasons I am here include leading the church, preaching, and praying for GOD’s guidance. GOD called me there for a very specific purpose.

He called you to your church for a very specific purpose as well!

If you are reading this and you call GCC home, why? All of the events in the history of your life and the history of the world have aligned to bring you to this place in this time. GOD does not make mistakes and He is in control, so for some reason, you are here! What is that reason and what are you going to do about it?

If you are reading this and attend a different church…The same principle applies.

Do not merely attend church! GOD has chosen to place you there, and I can almost promise you that it is not to sit in a pew (or a chair in most churches now) for an hour a week and then critique the quality of the music and preaching from the service.

GOD has chosen to use local bodies of believers like GCC and your church to be His hands and feet to the rest of the world. What is your role in that body? What are you doing about it?
